Please send a current resume, a 4-8 page writing sample, and a cover letter including brief responses to the following questions to the above email. Applications are due at 11:59pm Sept. 30, and no late applications will be considered for the positions.

What relevant experience would make you an outstanding candidate as an editor?  

What are your favorite genres to read?  What are your favorite genres to write?  

What experience do you have with literary journals?

The top two candidates will be offered the position of editor beginning in the fall semester. The next two candidates will be offered the chance to become editors in training. Trainee editors will assist Ashley Peldiak and Andrew Reitman in a training capacity. When Ashley and Andrew graduate in December, the trainees shall take over as full editors of the journal. 

Art Apprentice Application 2021-2022

What relevant experience would make you an outstanding candidate for art apprentice?

What sort of art is your favorite? What do you like to create as an artist?

What experience do you have with literary journals? 

As the art apprentice is expected to take over as art director next year, candidates for the position should not be seniors/in their final year at Drake.
