ABOUT

Periphery is the annual, student-produced publication of art and literary journals at Drake University. Periphery is committed to showcasing the highest quality work that is deemed “on the periphery”. This means that we focus heavily on the works that don’t fit the standard conventional categories or defined boundaries. Artistic quality is a fundamental aspect of Periphery’s submissions. The journal encompasses short fiction, poetry, art, and everything in between. With this journal, the staff team hopes to showcase undergraduate works and also defy conventional norms.

You can find our lovely directors and editors who work hard to make Periphery what it is below.
